Stella-Jones Inc. (TSX:SJ) has announced its director election
results following its annual meeting of shareholders, held
today.
All of the nominees proposed as directors in the Company's
Management Information Circular, dated March 21, 2013, were elected
on a vote by show of hands. In total 14,942,705 shares were
represented in person or by proxy at the meeting, representing
approximately 87.03% of the outstanding shares as of the record
date of March 18, 2013.
The proxies received by management for the election of directors
were as follows: 14,305,430 proxy votes were cast for the election
of Tom A. Bruce Jones, representing 96.61% of the proxy votes cast;
13,736,295 proxy votes were cast for the election of Gianni
Chiarva, representing 92.76% of the proxy votes cast; 14,575,466
proxy votes were cast for the election of George J. Bunze,
representing 98.43% of the proxy votes cast; 14,499,370 proxy votes
were cast for the election of Brian McManus, representing 97.91% of
the proxy votes cast; 14,574,766 proxy votes were cast for the
election of Nycol Pageau-Goyette, representing 98.42% of the proxy
votes cast; 14,377,271 proxy votes were cast for the election of
Simon Pelletier, representing 97.09% of the proxy votes cast;
12,845,380 proxy votes were cast for the election of Daniel
Picotte, representing 86.75% of the proxy votes cast; 14,596,895
proxy votes were cast for the election of John Barrie Shineton,
representing 98.57% of the proxy votes cast; and 14,624,839 proxy
votes were cast for the election of Mary Webster, representing
98.76% of the proxy votes cast.
