in Las Vegas.

Gemcom Surpac 6.1:

- Product overview: Award-winning software for orebody evaluation, open pit and
underground mine design, mine planning and production.

- Release highlights: Enhanced graphics and a new, more "CAD-like" drafting mode
that provides users with greater design flexibility, enabling them to complete
their work faster. Also included is an updated, geostatistics module with
enhanced usability that is shared with GEMS 6.2 and Minex 5.3, delivering better
visualisations and improved functionality.

Gemcom GEMS 6.2:

- Product overview: Collaborative geology, mine planning, production scheduling
and data management software.

- Release highlights: Enhanced block modelling and comprehension capabilities
which reduces the data footprint 10 to 100 times. This breakthrough technology
allows users to connect to their data and graphic visualisations quickly, even
in operations with very large amounts of data. Also included is a new
geostatistics module with increased usability that is shared with Surpac 6.1 and
Minex 5.3.

Gemcom Minex 5.3:

- Product overview: Comprehensive geological modelling and mine planning
software specialised for coal and other stratified deposits.

- Release highlights: A host of new capabilities including target scheduling
that enables mining at a given ore and/or overburden rate, and enhanced
"playback" and export of schedule animations. Also included is a new
geostatistics module built for increased usability that is shared with Surpac
6.1 and GEMS 6.2.

Gemcom MineSched 6.0:

- Product overview: Scheduling software for surface and underground mines of all
sizes and types.

- Release highlights: MineSched 6.0 marks a new generation of software,
combining extensive functionality with an innovative visual approach to long-
and short-term scheduling, with a four step scheduling workflow that guides the
user through an interactive "canvas" to develop better schedules faster.

Gemcom Whittle 4.2:

- Product overview: Industry standard strategic mine planning and mine
optimisation solution.

- Release highlights: Includes the ability to vary mill throughput by rock type
and process, allowing users to build multi-process scenarios with more accuracy
and power. Also included is a new threshold where up to 30 elements can be
defined, enhancing Whittle's optimisation capabilities, particularly in
multi-mine scenarios.

"Gemcom continues to work with our clients to understand their operating
pressure points to enable them to drive productivity gains in an ever changing
industry," said Rick Moignard, president and CEO of Gemcom. "Our focus in these
product releases has been on enhancing our individual applications by
incorporating expanded capabilities, such as a new geostatistics module, and
broad functionality and usability improvements. By doing so, our clients are
able to better address their critical business issues - whether it's the
complexity of the orebody and the optimisation of the ore extraction process, or
the need to get new staff utilising the software quickly in an era of high
personnel movement between mine sites."
