("Ceres" or the "Company") (TSX: CRP) announced today that it has
expanded the breadth of its operations by opening a
grain merchandising office in Guelph, ON. The new location will play a key
role in extending the Company's trading and merchandising reach
into Ontario and eastern Canadian
markets.
Concurrently, Ceres has announced the addition of Mr.
Dana Omland to its Trading and Risk
Mangement Team. Mr. Omland will be based in Guelph, ON and has over 25 years of experience
in the commodity and finance sectors, notably within the
Ontario grains industry.
Previously, Mr. Omland worked in grain merchandising for Lansing
Canada as well as Ontario Wheat Producers' Marketing Board.
Mr. Omland holds a BA in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan.

market opportunity for our western Canadian grain origination
