Andrew Peller Limited Announces Strong Showing at Recent Wine Awards

GRIMSBY, ONTARIO (TSX: ADW.A)(TSX: ADW.B) announced today that it had won six of the possible twenty awards presented at the Cuvee Wine Awards for 2008. The Company won more top honours than any other producer participating in the event.

Cuvee, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, is a celebration of the best wines from Ontario. These awards are unique in that they are the only awards in Canada where the winning wines are chosen by the winemakers themselves. Forty-four winemakers gathered together to blind taste one hundred and ninety white, red and sweet wines from fifty-seven Ontario wineries. The awards were presented the evening of Friday, February 29, 2008 at a gala event in Toronto.
