Passenger Traffic
In June 2009, passenger traffic at A�roports de Paris
(Paris:ADP) (Pink Sheets:AEOPF) dropped by 5.7% compared to June
2008. Paris airports handled a total of 7.4 million passengers
divided up between 5.1�million for Paris-Charles de Gaulle (-6.5%)
and 2.2 million for Paris-Orly (-3.8%).
- In June, international traffic
(excluding Europe) decreased by 5.5%. Traffic on routes to and from
Africa increased slightly by 0.4%. Traffic on North America routes
fell by 6.4% while Latin America dropped by 9.0%. On Middle Eastern
and Asian routes, traffic dropped by 7.6% and 11.4%
respectively.
- European traffic (excluding
France) fell by 6.6% including -6.1% on Schengen routes and -6.9%
for the British and Irish markets.
- Domestic traffic stood at
-4.7%.
- The number of connecting
passengers decreased by 4.9% in June 2009 compared with June 2008
with a connecting rate of 23.6% (against 23.4% in June 2008).
Over the first six months of the year, passenger traffic
decreased by 6.4%. For the same period, the number of connecting
passengers decreased by 4.9% resulting in a connecting rate of
24.4% (against 24.1% for the first six months of 2008).

Aircraft movements
The number of aircraft movements saw a 5.0% decrease in June
2009 year on year (-6.3% at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and -2.1% at
Paris-Orly). The passenger load factor reached 75.8% compared with
76.5% in June 2008.
