Ok, I hope I now have the correct, according to sources on the yahoo message board and a letter directly from Scottrade, for every share of aamrq we will get .65 of an AAL share

Scottrade told me that aamrq shares will convert 100 aamrq to 6.65 shares of AAL

What do you mean 1-1 plus change ? What change do we get ?

I have only 500 shares. So that's worth 1 share of AAL and some change to buy a cup of coffee and a donut. Lol

Scottrade said the same thing, for every 100 shares of AAMRQ we will be issued 6.65 shares of AAL. We got robbed, this totally sucks

Will LCC follow the 2005 model? In 2005 when America West took over U.S. Air LCC went from $19 a share to a peak of $61 in 33 days. From what I am reading expectations are much lower. Some seem to suggest only $35 (approx). Is AAMRQ the better buy?

Bought in end of day. I usually close my trades at the end of the day, but was too tempted to open a position here. Strong possibility of a gap and run. Nothing like making a few grand minutes within the opening bell :)

How we lookin over here? I am amazed how little action is on here compared to AAMRQ. I'm playing both sides of this and believe it could be an amazing play soon as the merger goes through.

Did you hold? It might be time to take some off the table and lock in your profits for a while.

I don't understand how people keep selling this stock. The deal will go through and those that hold the stock will have twice the money they did have. Even Cramer thinks that it will go through. there is too many other case precedent set for them to deny the merger. This is going to be epic and I am holding strong. Look at the past posts. The price is at $13-$14 and look at it now! HOLD!
