Carrier Global Corp., the building-systems business being spun
off by industrial conglomerate United Technologies Corp. (UTX),
Friday said it named Timothy McLevish chief financial officer,
effective Oct. 1.
Carrier said Mr. McLevish most recently served as senior adviser
to the chief executive at Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. (WBA).
United Technologies last year said it would split into three
independent companies by spinning off its Otis Elevator unit and
Carrier, leaving UTC as a pure-play aerospace company following its
$23 billion acquisition of airplane-parts maker Rockwell Collins
Inc.
Carrier said it expects to complete its separation from UTC in
the first half of 2020.
