Pitney Bowes Inc. (PBI) recently announced that its SendSuite Live has been selected by Glen Raven, a global textile manufacturer, to provide logistics management solution for web orders and other parcel shipments.

SendSuite Live is a unified global logistics management solution system that enhances  logistics processes by reducing business risks and delivering cost savings on a global scale. This fully integrated web based logistics solution provides access to a broad range of global parcel and freight carriers’ rates and services. This customized set of solutions helps a shipper to choose the best delivery and cost options.

Glen Raven will be using SendSuite Live for its Tri Vantage distribution division in order to manage 400,000 parcels shipments a year. The logistics solution will help provide accurate shipping pricing at the time of order and visibility to total shipping charges of their small parcel shipments.

In addition, the suite will also offer significant cost saving opportunities for Glen Raven by giving it the choice and flexibility as well as the option to access a variety of parcel carriers and services for delivering web orders.

Pitney Bowes Inc. is the largest provider of mail processing equipment and integrated mail solutions in the world. The company offers a full suite of equipment, supplies, software and services for end-to-end mailstream solutions, which enable its customers to optimize the flow of physical and electronic mail, documents and packages across their operations. A major competitor of Pitney Bowes is Siemens Inc. (SI).
