(Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/19991018/MONACO) Monaco's newest models include the entry-level priced Holiday Rambler Savoy LE travel trailer and the McKenzie Starwood LE fifth-wheel. Both models generated outstanding dealer response and preliminary order activity at the show. "We went to the drawing board to create two brand new entry-level towable RVs that deliver the look and feel that have been associated with Monaco for many years," reported Mike Snell, V.P. of Sales at Monaco. "The Savoy and Starwood will allow our dealers to introduce customers to Monaco products at extremely competitive price points and a terrific value." In addition, several new floor plans stood out among Monaco Coach Corporation's new products that were featured at the Louisville show. Monaco also introduced to it's Diplomat and Endeavor models a powerful new 400 horsepower Cummins (R) diesel engine. "This was the best Louisville show for dealer attendance in recent memory," said Kay Toolson, Monaco's C.E.O. "We view the reception to our new products at this show as an endorsement of our product development direction." Toolson added, "The '05 product continues to be well-received by our dealer partners and RV consumers, and the show appeared to be an extension of that momentum." Monaco interviewed many of its dealers at the show in relation to the franchise agreement concept that Monaco will offer its dealers. "The reaction of our dealers on the progress we have made developing our franchise concept was very encouraging," said John Nepute, Monaco's President. "We will be including the input of our dealer partners as we finalize the agreement, which we plan to roll-out the first half of 2005."
