Alltel's (NYSE:AT) board of directors today declared regular quarterly dividends on the company's common stock. The 38 1/2 cent dividend is payable April 3, 2006, to stockholders of record as of Feb. 24, 2006. Regular quarterly dividends also were declared on all series of the company's preferred stock. Preferred dividends are payable March 15, 2006, to stockholders of record as of Feb. 24, 2006. Alltel is a customer-focused communications company with more than 15 million customers in 36 states and nearly $10 billion in annual revenues.
