XATA Announces New Chief Technology Officer as Company Expands Application Capabilities

announced the appointment of Bob Maeser as the company's Chief
Technology Officer (CTO). In this new corporate position, Maeser
will be responsible for XATA's technical vision and lead the
company's research and development, quality assurance and IT
infrastructure functions. "As XATA continues to lead the fleet
operations software market and expand its focus on innovation and
product development, Bob is the ideal person to lead the charge,"

held a number of executive technical positions. Notably he was vice
president of technology infrastructure at American Express, where
he was responsible for global service and technology provisioning
strategies. In this role, he worked to design and implement IT
provisioning for employees and internal development teams. Prior to
American Express, Bob worked for Gelco Information Network as chief
information officer, responsible for delivering and supporting
Gelco's multi-platform Internet solution across 42 countries. He
also worked for St. Paul-based companies Agiliti, Comdisco, Hewlett
Packard and NCR in a variety of technical and management roles.
