Witness Systems (NASDAQ: WITS), a leading global provider of workforce optimisation software and services, has launched a new EMEA User Group for companies using its market-leading Impact 360(TM) workforce optimisation solutions. The committee is comprised of customers from a variety of vertical markets - including government, insurance, telecom and utilities - that leverage Impact 360 as an integral part of their business operations. The EMEA User Group is designed to provide an active forum for the company's expanding customer base to share workforce optimisation best practices and discuss the latest developments impacting their roles. Serving as advocates for and liaisons with Witness Systems' EMEA customers, the committee also will provide valuable insight by taking part in joint development solution and usability sessions. In doing so, the committee delivers valuable feedback and insight for future Witness Systems features, functionality, and new solutions and services. The User Group will next meet on March 2 at an event hosted by Witness Systems customer Homeserve - the UK's leading provider of home emergency solutions. In addition the group will play a major part in the autumn EMEA User Conference. The announcement follows the recent launch of Witness Systems' Impact 360 end-to-end workforce optimisation solution, and the company's ability to support customers looking for a single provider for all their workforce optimisation requirements - quality monitoring/full-time recording, workforce management, performance management and e-learning. The new Witness Systems EMEA User Group will be chaired by Jonathan Weaver of Norwich Union General Insurance (NUGI). Jonathan is currently managing the implementation of a Witness Systems workforce management solution across NUGI's entire customer-facing team, which includes approximately 6,000 agents. He was also a founding member and chairman of the Optimis/Blue Pumpkin UK User Forum. "With the launch of Impact 360, Witness Systems has reshaped the market landscape for contact centre and workforce optimisation technology, so it's important to have a strong user forum in place where senior industry professionals can exchange best practices and highlight technology developments," commented Chris Manton-Jones, EMEA vice president for Witness Systems. "It's also important that the committee have a strong direction, so I'm delighted that Jonathan Weaver from Norwich Union will serve as chairperson, backed by a steering committee that includes colleagues from BT, the AA, HM Revenue & Customs and Royal & SunAlliance." "We look forward to an open, interactive relationship with Jonathan, his committee and the EMEA User Group members," Manton-Jones continued. "Analyst firms, such as Saddletree Research have already commented that with Impact 360 'Witness Systems has done its homework, carefully listening to customers and prospects who understand the benefits of cross-functionality in the contact centre marketplace.' We encourage the EMEA User Group to continue this process by providing direct feedback to further develop our solutions." "The User Group will be driven by our clear focus on the issues that impact its members on a day-to-day basis. We'll be looking to share best practice methods, document our learning and collective knowledge and ensure that all the key Witness Systems technologies, including workforce management, quality monitoring/recording, performance management and e-learning, are fully represented," added Jonathan Weaver. "We're planning to hold three formal meetings a year, with separate best practice sessions for each of the different technologies. We're also looking forward to establishing excellent relationships between users from across industry boundaries, and encourage member organisations to see the user group as a forum and resource for their respective teams."
