BURLINGTON, Mass., April 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As millions
of Americans prepare to file their taxes this week, small business
owners across the United States
are sounding the alarm and urging Congress and the White House to
take action on reforming the federal tax code.
Endurance International Group (NASDAQ: EIGI) today released the
results of its 2015 Small Business Attitudes on Taxes
survey, which found that 90% of small business owners believe that
the federal tax code needs reform, with 88% believing that tax code
reform should be a priority for the 114th Congress and
the White House. However, even if federal lawmakers take up the
issue of tax reform, small business owners remain wary, with 88%
believing that the federal government does not adequately take into
account the impact on small businesses when considering reforms to
the tax code.
The survey also found that tax reform could potentially have
significant impact on the economy, with 52% of small businesses
responding that reform to the tax code "would be very helpful to
growing and expanding my business." Of those surveyed, 73%
responded that federal levies are more concerning than state and
local taxes.
"The survey results are clear: U.S. small businesses want tax
code reform and they want our federal lawmakers to enact reforms
that make small business growth a priority," said Endurance CEO and

Congress and the White House need to address the concerns of U.S.
small businesses. It starts with looking at ways to reform the tax
code that enable small business owners to reinvest in expansion and

The small businesses surveyed, all of which have web presence
solutions from Endurance, regard online sales tax as another
important issue with 63% responding that it is a concern to them
and 55% saying that online sales should not be taxed at all. 24%
believe that online sales should be taxed, but only in the state
where the business is located.

Endurance conducted its survey of 827 U.S.-based small
businesses from March 27 to April 7,
2015. For purposes of this survey, small businesses are
defined as employing 10 or fewer people on either a full-time or
