HAIFA, Israel, July 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Elbit Systems Ltd. ("Elbit Systems") (NASDAQ:ESLT) announced that a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tadiran Communications Ltd., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems, has been awarded a contract for the supply of Tadiran Communications' new generation, advanced, tactical communications equipment and related services to a European customer. The contract, valued at $85 million, will be performed over the next five years.
