EarthLink Declares Quarterly Dividend of $0.05 per Share

ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EarthLink Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: ELNK), a leading managed network and cloud solutions provider for multi-location businesses, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock in the amount of $0.05 per share to be paid on January 5, 2015 to shareholders of record as of December 22, 2014.

Hey SHORTS - you are 8.2 million short which equates to 421 thousand dollars they will need to pay out as dividends if they do not cover. The Ex -dividend date is tomorrow. A cover should transpire here? Ceo also getting 250k worth of shares at 3.88. So whats the deal here. This needs to recapitulate. Price per share is half of equity.

Very interesting!!!! Now the question is, is that all good, or do they know something. Have you checked the Dividend and profits, P/E lately?

Total stockholders’ equity $718,804,000 market cap only half that @ 434 million . plenty of cash on hand and s-8 are done. This should have a nice healthy bounce. Dividend declared . Think i will be long for a bit. short at 8% of float.

LOL, did the Washington news that caused the WS Rally set off this signal on most stocks Friday?

From what I heard early today, we may see a market wide sell signal reversal on Monday. Head lines might read "Panic on Wall street as Behner takes a Vacation". I swear I think these congress critters short the market and go strike as the debt ceiling gets near to raise christmas fun money, LOL. And this coming Friday is options expiration.

ELNK - Sold a little too early yesterday. Might pause in this area, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the 5.70 area with a little more time.

ELNK - Looks like a possible turn-around on the daily chart. In at 5.06 and looking for the 5.40 area at least short term.

Looking a little more closer at the chart, I believe this is an excellent buy point. The chart is forming the strongest portion of the wave upward precisely where one would like. Looking at a daily chart, one can see a few spots where $6.06 or so acted as support. This will clearly be a key zone to pass, and this momentum will make it much less of a struggle.

Beautiful close, this played out picture perfect today. Will probably close in the 7's on Friday if it breaks through the low $6's with ease and strength. If not the 7's, at least ~$6.6 at the bottom of that gap from before.

Bought in here this AM. Looking good today. Couple day swing trade most likely, keeping fairly tight stop.

Glad I did not buy here, yet. That was a large dividend hair cut, now only .05/quarter, about a 70% hair cut. Be interesting to see if the low PE survives, and if the stock price holds up.

I have been using Earthlink since at least 1996, maybe as far back as 1992. The stock just showed up on my radar and I just may start buying this one next year on the next pull back (buy thew dip) for the long haul, based on the P/E, low debt, outstanding dividend, and the fact that I have used them for over a decade for hosting web sites and my DSL service, and there service and up time have been outstanding versus competitors, so much so that I have never considered moving to other less expensive SPs.

Net income of $193.3 million or $1.79 per share
Adjusted EBITDA (a non-GAAP measure) of $50.9 million
Free cash flow (a non-GAAP measure) of $48.4 million
Dividend payments to shareholders of $15.0 million
Ending cash and marketable securities balance of $696.0 million
Announced full year 2010 Adjusted EBITDA (a non-GAAP measure) guidance of $180 million to $190 million
"The results EarthLink announced today demonstrate continued consistent performance against the strategy we launched two and a half years ago to focus the company on creating shareholder value through strong cash generation in the core business.
