Cost-U-Less, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq:CULS) today reported an increase of 9.2% in same store sales (stores open a full 13 months), for the five weeks ended September 25, 2005, compared to same store sales of 10.4% for the corresponding period a year ago. Same store sales for the five weeks ended September 25, 2005, benefited from the Company's annual Anniversary Sale which occurred in the month of October in fiscal 2004. This promotion is estimated to have increased fiscal September 2005 store sales by approximately 5 to 6 percentage points compared to the corresponding period a year ago. Total sales for the third fiscal quarter ended September 25, 2005, increased 3.8% to $53.0 million compared to $51.1 million for the corresponding period a year ago and total sales for the 39 weeks ended September 25, 2005, increased 4.3% to $158.5 million compared to $152.0 million for the corresponding period a year ago.
