Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Talks to Sell Software Unit to Thoma Bravo -Reuters

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (HPE) is in talks to sell its
software division, with Thoma Bravo LLC having made the highest
offer among those private equity firms involved in the sale
process, Reuters reported Thursday on its website, citing people
familiar with the matter.
Other private equity firms making an offer include Vista Equity
Partners Management LLC, Carlyle Group LP (CG) and TPG Capital LP,
the people told Reuters. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) is managing
the sales process.
