Building Turbines Works With Solid State Supply, to Fulfill NY & NJ LED Lighting Needs

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - Oct 30, 2013) - Building Turbines, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BLDW), developer of the patented BT5000 horizontal axis wind turbine (HAWT) and distributor of Energy Saving LED lighting, Solar and Generator Solutions through Green City Planet, a fully owned subsidiary, is pleased to announce the consummation of their initial LED Lighting sale to Solid State Supply, in connection with the company's project to supply LED bulbs and accessories to various public agencies in the states of New York and New Jersey. This initial project was instrumental in establishing Building Turbines' products and performance, prior to proceeding with the rest of their much larger state, county and city projects for LED lighting upgrade initiatives. 

"Solid State Supply is a major supplier of LED lighting products to the States of New York and New Jersey. We are placing sizeable orders with Building Turbines/ Green City Planet for specific products that they have proved meet strict specifications, and timelines required. This initial project represents between twenty and twenty-five thousand dollars in new revenues for Building Turbines. "This was a small order of 800 custom bulbs, designed to prove that we could meet the stringent requirements on schedule, performance, and ability to meet very strict specifications. We exceeded all expectations of Solid State Supply; as evidenced in a long line of much larger orders, being finalized starting this week. We have positioned ourselves, based on our product specifications and warranties, to have a significant advantage to be preferred vendor, for Solid State Supply in all their States of New York and New Jersey; state, county and city projects," said John Graham Sr., CEO, Building Turbines, Inc.
