As of the date of this report, Advent Management IV Limited Partnership and Advent Private Equity Fund IV held 9,850 and 986,238 shares of Agenus Inc. common stock, respectively. Dr. Malik is a GP of Advent Venture Partners LLP and shares voting and investment power of the shares, and disclaims beneficial ownership of such shares except to the extent of his pecuniary interest therein.
