Hong Kong Dollar Slips To 7- 1/2 -month Low Against Greenback

During early Asian deals on Monday, the Hong Kong dollar
declined against the U.S. currency. The Hong Kong dollar is
currently trading at a 7- 1/2 -month low of 7.7978 against the
greenback, compared to last week's close of 7.7923. If the Hong
Kong dollar weakens further, it may likely target the 7.807
level.
The Hong Kong dollar that soared to an 11-month high of 7.7496
against the greenback in November last year declined thereafter and
has lost 0.6% thus far.
