Bird River Resources Inc. (CNSX:BDR) is pleased to announce that it was the
successful bidder on a 160 acre (94 hectare) oil and gas parcel located at NE
1/4 of 14-22WPM. The parcel (lease) is situated approximately 11 KM north east
of Pierson, Manitoba. The public offering of Crown Oil and Gas Rights was held
by the Government of Manitoba and the lease is for a five year term.
We are very optimistic about the potential of this property as it is near the
Regent Field and there are three producing horizontal wells immediately north
west of the Bird River Resources new 100% held lease. The lease agreement allows
the drilling of up to four vertical wells or six horizontal wells on the
property.
Additionally, BDR had previously acquired a 25% interest in several leases in
the Pierson area with its joint venture partner Antler River Resources.
