Atrato Capital on Supermarket Income REIT’s growth strategy; benefits of internalisation

Supermarket Income REIT PLC (LSE:SUPR, OTC:SUPIF) fund manager Robert Abraham and finance director Michael Perkins take Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s interim results for the six months to December 2024. Abraham highlighted the company’s strategic progress, including cost reductions through the proposed internalisation of its management team, asset disposals, and lease renewals. He noted that a recent disposal to Tesco demonstrated the value of these assets, selling at a 7% premium to book value. The lease renewals extended three short-term leases to 15 years at significantly higher rental rates, reflecting the strong demand for top-performing supermarket assets. Discussing financial benefits, Abraham explained that internalisation is expected to save the company £4 million annually, strengthening earnings and dividend cover. He also mentioned plans to explore a potential listing change to attract more investors and enhance capital access. Perkins outlined the financial performance, noting a 10% increase in net rental income to £58 million and a reduction in the upper cost ratio to 13.6%. Earnings per share rose by 3%, and the portfolio’s like-for-like valuation grew by 0.5% to £1.8 billion. The company’s loan-to-value ratio stands at 38%, ensuring financial flexibility for future strategic initiatives. Astral Resoures’ pre-feasibility study on track for June

Astral Resources NL (ASX:AAR) managing director Marc Ducler talked with Proactive about the latest gold recovery results from the Mandilla Gold Project in Western Australia. He shared insights into recent metallurgical test work at the Theia prospect, where 87% gravity recovery and 98% overall recovery were achieved within 24 hours. Ducler highlighted that these strong results support the upcoming mineral resource estimate and pre-feasibility study. The company is optimising the resource estimate using a A$3,500 gold price and current mining and processing cost assumptions. The updated resource model is expected within two weeks, with the pre-feasibility study targeted for release in the June quarter. Ducler also provided an update on Astral’s takeover of Maximus Resources, which has reached a 72% acceptance level. The acquisition adds 330,000oz to Astral’s resource base and provides future infrastructure opportunities. Additionally, the company has active drilling programs, including diamond drilling at Camp Man, an air core program at Feysville, and a 46-hole RC drilling campaign set to begin shortly. HIVE Digital reports 89 BTC mined in February, plans 4x hashrate expansion by September 2025

Hive Digital Technologies Executive Chairman Frank Holmes joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s unaudited Bitcoin production results for February 2025. HIVE mined 89 BTC during the month, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 2,620 BTC, valued at approximately $220 million as of February 28, based on a BTC price of $84,000. Holmes highlighted that HIVE's Bitcoin holdings have grown by 23% year-over-year. However, on a month-over-month basis, BTC reserves declined as the company strategically sold a portion of its holdings to reinvest in capital assets, including acquiring Bitfarms’ 200 MW hydro-powered Bitcoin mining facilities in Paraguay. Despite the asset reallocation, HIVE maintained a strong mining capacity, averaging 5.6 Exahash per Second (EH/s) with fleet efficiency at 20.9 Joules per Terahash. The company achieved a peak BTC-only hashrate of 6.2 EH/s and a peak BTC-equivalent hashrate of 6.4 EH/s, with an average daily production rate of 3.2 BTC—equivalent to 16 BTC per Exahash. Looking ahead, HIVE is targeting significant growth in 2025, with plans to quadruple its hashrate from 6 EH/s to 25 EH/s by September. The company’s 300 MW expansion in Paraguay is a key part of this strategy, with phased energization of miners set for calendar Q2 2025. Helix Exploration expands with key acquisition at Rudyard

HeLIX Exploration PLC (AIM:HEX) CEO Bo Sears talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest expansion at its Rudyard Project in Montana. Sears highlighted the acquisition of the Weil #1 well and its surrounding 640-acre section, which effectively doubles Helix's production capacity. The purchase, completed for $300,000, presents significant value compared to the estimated $1.3 million cost of drilling a new well. Sears explained that Rudyard’s helium potential has been known since Texaco’s 1960 drilling, but only recently has its full scale been realised. With ongoing development, Helix is transitioning from an exploration-focused approach to a development drilling program, significantly reducing risks in future wells. The company is also preparing to spud the Linda #1 well in April, pending regulatory approvals. Additionally, Sears confirmed that the Darwin #1 well is ready for production as soon as the necessary plant infrastructure is in place. On the Ingomar project, he noted that while initial gas samples were noncommercial, future drilling in the Flathead formation is planned after environmental restrictions lift in mid-June.
