            Cantos Communications to license Forbidden Technologies'

                   video compression and playback technology



Forbidden Technologies plc (Forbidden) and Cantos Communications Limited
(Cantos) have confirmed that Cantos is licensing Forbidden's new generation
video compression and playback technology.



Cantos, the pioneer in online business broadcasting, provides an online video
communication service and has made programming for over 600 companies including
over 60% of the FTSE 100 and 50% of the FTSE 250 since its launch in May 2001.
Cantos plans to use the exceptional reach of Forbidden's video streaming
technology to augment the range of services that it offers to its corporate
clients, to deliver corporate programming to a wider Internet, intranet and
wireless audience.
