Polyus Signs Renewable-Energy Contract with Russian Hydroelectricity Supplier

Polyus PJSC said Thursday that it has signed an agreement for
the supply of environmentally friendly electricity from Russian
supplier RusHydro.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Russian gold miner said
there are provisions for 1 billion kilowatt-hours of energy to its
Krasnoyarsk business unit supplied from the Sayano-Shushenskaya
hydro power plant.
The agreement will last until Dec. 31 and has the possibility of
being extended.
