Stock Market Symbols GIB.A (TSX) GIB (NYSE) FAIRFAX, VA, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CGI Federal, Inc., a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group Inc., (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A) today announced that it was selected by the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) to continue work on OFHEO's Examiner Workstation (xWorks) under a GSA IT Schedule Contract Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The BPA runs for five years (including option periods) and covers further enhancements to xWorks, along with operations and maintenance support. xWorks is a business process management application that automates many of the manual processing steps OFHEO Examiners use to document their assessments of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. CGI has been working with OFHEO to implement and enhance xWorks since 2005. The initial phase of the project included design and implementation of the system, including automating business processes, records and case management, front-end capture, and a portal-based web 2.0 interface. Since then, CGI has helped OFHEO complete an examinations business process reengineering effort in parallel with regular software release cycles, and ongoing infrastructure and application management support. Additionally, CGI Federal has supported application security, aiding OFHEO's Certification & Accreditation activities and clearance.
