New Vice President of Operations Appointed to Lions Gate Metals

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA ("LGM" or the "Company") is pleased
to announce the appointment of Mr. Laurie Thomson, B.Sc. (Honours)
Geology, to the position of Vice President of Operations. Mr.
Thomson will lead and direct exploration and development activities
on Lions Gate Metals existing mineral projects, as well as assist
in strategic acquisitions and related opportunities. Mr. Thomson's
appointment is part of LGM's strategy to aggressively move forward
on its existing properties and build value through the acquisition
of additional strategic and high quality base metal mineral
assets.
The company is also pleased to announce the inaugural member of
the Board of Advisors, Mr. Gavin C. Dirom, M.Sc., P.Ag. Mr. Dirom
is the Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety for the
Mining Association of British Columbia. Mr. Dirom will be a
valuable resource to the company in government and local
relationships within BC as well as helping the company develop
strong ties with some of the large global metals consumers.
