Spain's Telefonica SA (TEF) will eventually use the brand of its local mobile operator, Vivo SA (VIV) as the sole brand for all its mobile and fixed line services in Brazil, a company executive said Tuesday.

The migration of existing services under the Telefonica brand to Vivo will be "very gradual," Telefonica president Antonio Valente told reporters at a conference in Sao Paulo.
