The Sovereign Bond Flow Indicator is the latest offering in State Street's broad range of institutional investor behavior research tools. Aggregated from data representing approximately 15 percent of the world's investable assets, State Street now provides measures of investor flows into sovereign bonds covering 13 developed countries throughout North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. "This new measure of institutional investors' appetite for sovereign bonds extends our groundbreaking range of research tools to the fixed income asset class," Stanley W. The SBFI employs net flows at each monthly point along the yield curve as its unit of analysis to most accurately represent the net demand for securities at different maturities.
