Women's Organization Recognizes Ralph Izzo as one of NJ's 'Good Guys'

PSEG leader receives honor for advocacy NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 1
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Women's Political Caucus of New
Jersey (WPCNJ) will honor PSEG chairman, president and CEO, Ralph
Izzo, tomorrow evening for his advocacy on behalf of women. Izzo
will be awarded one of two "Good Guys Awards" at WPCNJ's annual
"Passion, Power and Progress" awards ceremony. "We're proud to
honor Ralph Izzo for his efforts to advance and promote women to
positions of leadership within PSEG," said Sharon L. Weiner,
president of WPCNJ. "He is truly a role model." PSEG is dedicated
to promoting diversity and recognizes that in order to face the
increasingly complex challenges of society and business, there must
be full and complete participation of all members of society. "It
is as critical for women to be active in political and policy
arenas as it is for businesses to embrace the value of diversity in
the workforce," said Izzo. The awards ceremony will be hosted by
former president and chair of the NJN Foundation Board of Trustees,
Elizabeth Christopherson. WPCNJ will also be honoring NJN News
anchorwoman, Kent Manahan, and State Senator and Democratic
Majority Leader, Stephen Sweeney. PSEG is best known as the parent
