KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced it has been awarded a task order contract to provide program and construction management services for the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport’s (DFW) US$1.7 billion capital development program. The agreement has a base contract period of three years with five option years.

Under the contract and upon award of future task order(s), KBR, in collaboration with Freese & Nichols (F&N) and Chiang, Patel & Yerby, Inc. (CPY), will provide services to execute upgrades to four of the airport’s original terminals, as well as improvements to the public access and operations sides of the airport. The award of this contract follows the successful completion of design and construction management by the KBR/F&N/CPY team for two major DFW capital programs – the Skylink Automated People Mover and the Perimeter Taxiway.

“We are pleased to continue our work with F&N and CPY to provide valuable services for DFW’s capital development program,” said Colin Elliott, President, KBR Infrastructure and Minerals. “The award of this contract underscores KBR’s reputation for delivering consistent, reliable services that meet our clients’ needs.”
