KBR (NYSE:KBR) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the U.S. Army Contracting Command under its current Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract. KBR will support U.S. Army and Navy missions at five sites in Bahrain. The Period of Performance is one base year plus one option year and is valued at approximately $28 million.

Under the task order KBR will support nearly 1400 personnel and provide camp construction, including the build out of a Life Support Area (LSA), facilities management, HAZMAT management, water production, firefighting services, airfield operations and power generation. Services will also include self-service laundry operations, food service, shuttle bus services and fuel retail operations.
