NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Shares of the following companies were
among those making notable moves ahead of Tuesday's U.S.
stock-market open:
Advancers
Huntsman Corp.'s (HUN) shares surged after Standard & Poor's
Ratings Services late Monday upgraded the credit rating of the
chemical company and a subsidiary to "BB-minus" from "B-Plus."
Mitek Systems Inc.'s (MITK) shares climbed 12% a day after
William & Blair & Co. initiated coverage of the
bank-technology maker with an "outperform" rating.
Decliners
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc.'s (CBRL) shares fell 5%
after the restaurant chain reported less-than-expected earnings for
the fourth quarter ended July 29 and issued a financial forecast
for fiscal 2012.
