PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CDI Corp. (NYSE:CDI) announced today that its subsidiary, CDI Engineering Solutions, Inc. (CDI), has been selected by Huntsman Corporation (NYSE:HUN) to provide engineering and procurement services in connection with the construction of Huntsman's previously announced new 100-million-pound world-scale maleic anhydride facility to be located in Geismar, Louisiana. CDI was selected as a result of a competitive bidding process and will commence detailed engineering and procurement activities immediately. The value of the contract has not been disclosed. Maleic anhydride is the building block for unsaturated polyester resins used mainly in the production of fiberglass-reinforced resins for construction, automotive and marine products.
