With recent devastating tornadoes across the United States, Dow
AgroSciences, through The Dow Chemical Company Foundation, is
donating $75,000 to the American Red Cross for relief efforts and
will match 100 percent of employee contributions up to $10,000.
“In our business, weather is critical,” said Dow AgroSciences
President and Chief Executive Officer Antonio Galindez. “But in
times like this, we are reminded that it is personal. As an
organization, this gift is one way in which we are able to lend
help to those who need it most.”
Dow AgroSciences and its parent The Dow Chemical Company have a
long history of providing emergency relief support through the
American Red Cross. Galindez said that the decision to make this
most recent donation was not only the “right thing to do,” but was
reinforced by the outpouring of support from Dow AgroSciences
employees.
