Statement Regarding Deaths at Cameron Division Office HOUSTON, May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At approximately 8:45 a.m. this morning, an employee of the Cameron division of Cooper Cameron Corporation (NYSE:CAM) and a consultant working with the Company died in an apparent murder/suicide in Cameron's office building at 4646 West Sam Houston Parkway North. Cooper Cameron Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Sheldon R. Erikson issued the following statement: "We are deeply saddened by the tragic events of this morning that resulted in the deaths of two people at Cameron's office building. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends and co-workers at this difficult time. "We are cooperating with the Houston Police Department in their investigation, and we expect them to make additional information available as it is appropriate. We are also working with our employees at the Cameron offices in an effort to help them cope with this tragedy."
