CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB)(TSX: GIB.A), a leading provider of
information technology and business process services, today
announced that the State of Alaska's Department of Administration
has selected CGI's built-for-government AMS Advantage® enterprise
resource planning (ERP) solution and managed services in a
competitive procurement to replace its existing legacy systems. The
Statewide Administrative Systems Replacement Project is valued at
US$54M for seven years for software, services and maintenance, with
six option years valued at an additional US$16.6M.
"We are excited to move forward with CGI on this project, which

better visibility and transparency of business data for
decision-makers," said Becky Hultberg, Commissioner of the State of
Alaska Department of Administration.
The State will implement the full suite of CGI's AMS Advantage
ERP solution, including the financial management, human resource
and payroll and procurement modules. CGI will provide services for
project management, business process redesign, system configuration
and development, data conversion and training. The State will
subscribe to CGI's managed services offering, Managed Advantage,
for application maintenance, technical upgrades and help desk
support.
"With AMS Advantage, the State of Alaska has chosen a
fully-integrated ERP solution that is critical to drive timely
business decisions," said Daniel Keene, Vice-President of CGI's AMS
Advantage program. "By also selecting our managed services for
software maintenance, the State removes the burden of supporting
these daily non-critical technical operations and allows them to
concentrate their workforce on important citizen services. We are
thrilled to partner with the State of Alaska to continue their
modernization efforts."
