Camden Property Trust Announces Pricing of Common Share Offering

Camden Property Trust (NYSE:CPT) today announced the pricing of its public offering of 9,000,000 common shares at a price to the public of $27.50 per share. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,350,000 additional common shares to cover over-allotments, if any. Merrill Lynch & Co. and J.P. Morgan are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.

Camden intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the common shares, which are expected to be approximately $236.7 million (without giving effect to any exercise of the underwriters' option to purchase additional shares), for the retirement of debt and general corporate purposes.
