Camden Property Trust Announces First Quarter 2009 Dividend and Sets Date for Annual Shareholder Meeting

The Board of Trust Managers of Camden Property Trust (NYSE:CPT)
declared a first quarter cash dividend of $0.70 per share to
holders of record as of March 31, 2009 of its Common Shares of
Beneficial Interest. The dividend is to be paid on April 17,
2009.
In addition, Camden announced that its Annual Meeting of
Shareholders will be held on May 6, 2009 at the Renaissance Hotel,
6 East Greenway Plaza, Houston, Texas, at 10:00 a.m., Central Time.
The Company intends to begin mailing its Proxy Statement, Annual
Report to Shareholders, voting materials and other meeting
information on or about March 27, 2009 to registered holders of
record as of March 16, 2009. The Company also intends to begin
mailing a �Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials� to
shareholders who hold their shares in �street name� on or about
March 27, 2009 containing instructions on how to access Camden�s
2009 proxy statement and annual report electronically, or how to
request paper copies.
