Life Fitness, the global leader in commercial fitness equipment,
announces a line of new consumer cardio equipment featuring two new
console options, Track and Go. This new product line-up is designed
to answer consumer demand for greater fitness tracking and
entertainment features. Also energy-efficient, the consoles are now
available on 10 Life Fitness consumer equipment models and include
a variety of advanced technology features like iPod®/iPhone®
docking stations, family fitness customization features and Virtual
Trainer connectivity.
"As consumers look for ways to enhance their workouts, Life
Fitness will continue to develop new and innovative fitness product
offerings," said Dan Wille, Life Fitness vice president, global
marketing, product, and business development. "The Track and Go
Consoles not only provide a great workout experience, but also one
that can be customized to the individual, allowing them to get
exactly what they need from the machine and ultimately their
workout."
Track Console Outfitted with an
iPod/iPhone docking station that provides seamless controls for
song selection and volume, the sleekly designed Track Console
offers the best in entertainment and fitness programming. With the
Track Console, users can create up to four customized user profiles
allowing the whole family to experience quicker set-up, access
individual workout statistics and have the ability to save three
custom workouts per person. The HeartSync feature enables the
machines to monitor a user's heart rate and adjust the workout
resistance level to keep the exerciser performing within their
target heart rate zone. Users can also create an unlimited number
of customized workouts via the Life Fitness Virtual Trainer website
and app, which allow consumers to follow personalized workouts,
track their number of cumulative burned calories, and share both
cardio and strength results with Facebook friends. Workout programs
and results can be transferred from the machine using the
on-console USB port or through the free Virtual Trainer app
available for the iPhone® or iPod touch®.
Go Console The Go Console is a simplified
choice for users who are seeking the fundamentals of a great
workout. Its user profiles and motivating variety features give
users the option to create up to two customized workouts or choose
from 13 different preprogrammed workouts including three classic,
two advanced, three goal-based and five HeartSync controlled
workouts. And just like the Track Console, Go allows users to
monitor their heart rate through wireless telemetry readings and
offers Energy Saver functionality designed to lower energy use by
up to 90 percent when the unit is turned on but not in use.
The new Track and Go Consoles are available now on Life Fitness'
T3 and F3 Treadmills, X1, X3, X5 and X8 Cross-Trainers, C1 and C3
Upright Bikes and R1 and R3 Recumbent Bike models and will be sold
online at www.LifeFitness.com beginning October 31, 2011.
