Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: ATI) today announced base-selling price increases for nickel-based alloys and specialty alloys effective with orders acknowledged on or after October 19, 2010:

  • ATI Allvac is increasing base-selling prices by 5% to 7% for nickel-based alloys and specialty alloys in long product forms.
  • ATI Allegheny Ludlum is increasing base-selling prices by 4% to 7% for certain nickel-based alloys and specialty alloys in sheet, plate, and Precision Rolled Strip® product forms.

These actions are necessary to support continued growth and investments in our business. All raw material surcharges remain in effect.
