The Board of Directors of Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today declared a cash dividend of 16 cents per share on the company’s stock payable on September 8, 2011, to Stockholders of record on August 18, 2011.

This is ADM’s 319th consecutive quarterly payment, a record of 79 years of uninterrupted dividends. As of June 30, 2011, there were 675,787,233 shares of ADM stock outstanding.
