Anquawhite 100 curing agent, a polymeric amine dispersion in water,
is being introduced to the North American market this week at the
International Coatings Expo being held October 27-29 at McCormick
Place North in Chicago, Ill. "This novel product is really flexible
in terms of formulation capability," said Dave Dubowik, principal
application chemist for Air Products. "It is very attractive to
customers because of its fast dry, long working life, high stain
resistance and resistance to yellowing." Anquawhite 100 curing
agent is a novel waterborne curing agent dispersion designed for
use in ambient or heat cure two part epoxy systems. The epoxy
curing agent market applications include wall and floor coatings,
metals coatings for bulk tanks and railcars, and also institutional
or heavy duty maintenance coatings. Anquawhite 100 curing agent can
be formulated with a variety of epoxy resins and waterborne epoxy
dispersions while maintaining VOC (volatile organic compound)
levels
