Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:VRNT), a leading provider of analytic
software-based solutions for security and business intelligence,
today announced that Conseco, Inc. (NYSE:CNO), a premier provider
of insurance products, has deployed Verint's Opus solution to
enhance operational performance across three business units,
including its call center operations, policy holder services and
medical management divisions. Headquartered in suburban
Indianapolis, Indiana, Conseco provides a wide variety of insurance
and financial solutions for more than 4 million customers including
Medicare supplement, long-term care, cancer, heart/stroke and
accident policies as well as annuities and life insurance products.
Verint's Opus solution will help Conseco improve operational
performance by identifying the root causes of service performance
issues and continually monitoring the effectiveness of their
operations. Peggy Hutchinson, SVP of Policyholder Services for
Conseco Insurance Group said, "Verint's Opus Solution has provided
us actionable intelligence that is used by line staff, middle
management, and senior leadership to evaluate our daily operations
and project our strategic resource needs." Verint's Opus
operational performance management solution includes sophisticated
performance analytics that integrate and analyze data from a
variety of systems across the enterprise, including customer and
operational databases such as CRM and ERP, and presents this data
in an executive dashboard to help management identify areas of
improvement and drive operational performance. The Opus Suite
dashboard delivers business process, compliance and operational
performance intelligence directly to executives and alerts them
when performance in key areas drops below acceptable levels.
Executives can then drill down by department, team, or individual
to determine the root cause of the unacceptable performance levels.
"Increasingly, organizations like Conseco are seeking actionable
intelligence that provides an enterprise view of performance across
all their customer touch points," said Dan Bodner, President and
CEO of Verint. "Our Opus solution helps these organizations
understand and improve their operational performance from the front
to the back office." About Verint Systems Inc. Verint(R) Systems
