PR Newswire (US)
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Micro Linear
Corporation (NASDAQ:MLIN) and Eleven Engineering Incorporated
announced today the mass- production availability of Squeak 1.5
digital wireless audio modules based on the Micro Linear ML2724 RF
transceiver and the Eleven Engineering XInC processor and software.
"With a 1.5Mbps data rate and closed loop FSK transmitter, the
Micro Linear ML2724 has proven to be a key factor in delivering
high performance digital wireless audio and is ideal for streaming
high-quality audio applications," said Steve Moore, Micro Linear's
VP of Worldwide Sales and Applications. "Squeak 1.5 modules provide
a high performance wireless audio connection and are well suited
for a wide range of audio applications including home theater
satellite speakers, outdoor speakers and headphones," said John
Sobota, CEO of Eleven Engineering. "By utilizing advanced hardware
error protection and frequency hopping, Squeak 1.5 modules easily
avoid RF interference, thereby delivering the most robust Quality
of Service (QoS) and eliminating the primary cause of concern for
consumer satisfaction in a wireless system. Even when configured to
deliver end-to-end latency of less than 20ms, at ranges of 25
meters to 50 meters indoors, Squeak 1.5 delivers rich audio
fidelity without the annoying clicks and drop-outs heard in other
solutions. These modules are ideal for manufacturers who want fast
time-to- market and high Quality of Service, and are proven to meet
Dolby Digital and THX performance requirements", he added. To find
