Eastern Bankshares Description
Eastern Bankshares Inc is a commercial bank. The bank provides a broad range of products and services to retail, commercial and small business customers. It operates in two segments namely, banking and insurance agency operations. The banking business which derives majority revenue offers a range of commercial, retail, wealth management, and banking services, and consists primarily of attracting deposits from the general public and investing those deposits, together with borrowings and funds generated from operations, to originate loans in a variety of sectors and to invest in securities. Revenue from the banking business consists primarily of interest earned on loans and investment securities. |
