Regulators To Audit Many Of The Largest US Futures Firms -NYT

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission will audit many of the
U.S.'s largest futures trading firms to verify that customer money
is protected, amid the investigation into missing MF Global
Holdings Inc. client funds, the New York Times reported on its
DealBook blog Thursday, citing a person briefed on the matter.
Exchanges such as the CME Group Inc. (CME) will examine smaller
firms to ensure they are keeping customer money separate from
company money, the report said.
