Avendra Selects Cintas Corporation as a Preferred Vendor of Full-Service Fire Protection Solutions for Hotels

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced an agreement with Avendra, the hospitality industry’s leading procurement services company, as the preferred supplier of full-service fire protection and life safety services. Under the agreement, Cintas products and services will be offered to Avendra’s nearly 5,000 customers located throughout North America.

Specializing in full-service fire protection solutions with an “in-house” feel, Cintas’ offering allows Avendra’s clients, including management companies and individual properties, to consolidate their fire protection program to one trusted supplier. With national coverage through both self-performing locations and a network of affiliates, Cintas has the scope to help hoteliers simplify their fire protection programs, freeing up their time to focus on what they do best—providing tremendous guest experiences.

In addition, Cintas offers fire protection training and directly handles communication with Fire Marshals and local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to resolve issues immediately and expertly, particularly regarding the handling of Notice of Violations (NOVs).

Fire protection is the newest solution in which Cintas and Avendra have partnered. It joins Cintas’ previously negotiated hospitality solutions such as uniform services (including both purchase and rental options), tile & carpet deep cleaning, floor mat rental, A/C coil cleaning and document shredding and storage solutions.
