Cintas Document Management Earns NAID AAA Certification for Third Consecutive Year

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS), the leader in secure document management services, today announced it has earned its National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) AAA certification for the third consecutive year. This verifies that Cintas adheres to the stringent information destruction security practices and standards defined by the association.

The NAID certification program establishes standards for secure destruction processes for areas of a business including operational security, employee hiring and screening, the destruction process, responsible disposal and insurance. The renewal process includes unscheduled audits, drug screening and an employee criminal record search by security professionals who have earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) accreditation. To ensure compliance year-round, Cintas regularly conducts background checks and drug screenings for all employees. Its general managers also perform monthly, internal audits to ensure their operations continuously meet and exceed the standards. In addition, all locations are subject to annual, unannounced security audits conducted by Cintas’ Security Task Force.
