Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS), the leader in secure document management services, today announced it is the national document management partner with the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) for the third annual National Protect Your Identity Week. Taking place October 17-23, 2010, the week will consist of more than 150 identity theft education and protection events across the nation, with many including free shredding services powered by Cintas. In addition, on Saturday, October 23, in select cities, community members are invited to help break the Guinness World Record™ for most paper shredded in 24 hours. Anyone can participate by bringing personal documents they wish to have securely destroyed by Cintas to their local event.

During Protect Your Identity Week, events will be hosted nationwide by a local member of the NFCC, BBB or an affiliated Coalition Member. Consumers are invited to take advantage of free identity theft workshops and credit report reviews. In addition, anyone can bring their documents to have them shredded by an on-site, certified Cintas employee at participating locations. From drop-off to destruction, all documents will be constantly monitored and protected.

Additionally, all of the shredded documents will be recycled into secondary paper products to reduce waste and impact on the environment.
