Cintas Co-Hosts Job Fair Today with U.S. Congressman

Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) and U.S. Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger, D-Md., will host a job fair today to connect local citizens with employment opportunities in the Baltimore County area.

“If you’ve been laid off or if you’re just looking to give your career a boost, this is the perfect opportunity to get yourself your own personal economic stimulus – a new job,” Congressman Ruppersberger said. “In Maryland, employers hired close to 36,000 new workers last month, so the timing was right to hold a job fair. Jobs are the fuel that drives our economy. When you have a job, you can support your family and your community."

The job fair is free, open to the public and will run from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. EDT at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5015 Campbell Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21236.

“In this difficult economic environment, we jumped at Congressman Ruppersberger’s invitation to help qualified candidates in and around Baltimore find jobs,” said Robin Everhart, vice president of government affairs and corporate communications. “We are all the more delighted so many of our local customers partnered with us to expand the diversity of job openings available at the fair.”

More than 25 Cintas customer companies will be in attendance with part and full-time openings in sales and marketing, automotive, child and elder care, hair styling, food services, manufacturing security, transportation and more.

Participating employers include: Advanced Auto Parts, Aflac, Alexandria’s Hair Studio, AlliedBarton Security, Arena Club, BH Trucking, Celebree Learning Center, Consumer Credit Counseling, Enterprise Holdings, EQ Northeast Inc., Goodwill Staffing Services, Manor Care Health, Nutramax Labs, Oak Crest Village, Pall Corporation, Quick West Towing, Santoni’s, United Insurance Company of America, U.S. Navy and Veolia Transport.
